Putting people's safety first
We have pledged our commitment to prioritising residents’ safety in our building projects by signing up to a national charter which aims to improve standards across the sector.

Real is pleased to become a Registered Signatory of the Building a Safer Future Charter. Real recognises that becoming a Registered Signatory is an important first step towards achieving the culture and behavioural change required in relation to the Charter's objectives around building safety.

In confirming our support as a Registered Signatory, we will now be working to ensure that we embed the principles of the Charter into our organisation’s activities. Signatories seek to drive up safety standards and promote a culture change, so that protecting life is placed ahead of all other building priorities.

Paul Nicholls, Chief Executive Officer at Real, said: “We wholeheartedly support the Building a Safer Future Charter. By signing up, we are demonstrating our commitment to embedding its principles across our business.

“The Charter has a vital role to play in ensuring we all work together to learn lessons and develop solutions so that, ultimately, everyone can feel safe and secure in all buildings across the UK now and in the future.”
